Columbia, Mo. - Cougar Softball Head Coach
Wendy Spratt has announced the signing of Natalie Dummitt to a national letter of intent join the Columbia program for the 2015-16 season.
Dummitt will join the Cougars following a successful prep career at Lee's Summit High School, where she was a three-time All-Conference and All-District selection as an outfielder and catcher for the Tigers. She helped lead her squad to two consecutive State Championships and was an All-Region and All-State selection after batting a career-best .416 in her senior season. Dummitt also received Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014. Natalie is member of the National Honor Society as well.
"Natalie will be a great addition to our 2015-2016 team," added Spratt, "She led her high school team to back to back state championships and will make an immediate impact on our softball program."
