Indianapolis, Ind. – The Columbia College bowling team traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana this weekend to compete in the Columbia 300 Western Shootout, held at Western Bowl. This tournament consisted of six regular games on Saturday and three sets of five games of Baker scoring on Sunday.
The Cougar Navy team finished 12
th out of 23 teams with a total pin fall of 7,642 after collecting 5,073 of those pins on Saturday. The Silver team finished third out of five teams with 6,582 pins including 4,369 on Saturday.
In the individual scoring average, the Cougars had three players finish in the top 40. Sophomore
Katyn Fischer placed 13
th out of 210 competitors, tallying 1,119 pins for a six game average of 186.
The Cougars will travel to St. Charles, Mo. this coming weekend, October 26 and 27, to bowl in the 11
th Annual Lindenwood University Lions Classic at Plaza Lanes.
