Cougars Claim CBC Mustang Invitational

Maumelle, Ark. – The Columbia College women's golf team was back in action the past two days when they traveled to Maumelle, Arkansas to compete in the CBC Mustang Invitational at the Country Club of Arkansas. The Cougars dominated the competition by 49 points to take first place out of seven teams with a team score of 677 (343-334, +46).

The team was led by Mikala Jungmeyer and Mindy Hennrich who finished tied for fourth out of 44 golfers after shooting a 168 (81-87, +24, 86-82, +24, respectively). Lauren Hawley finished seventh shooting 174 (89-85, +30), Michelle Clark placed eighth shooting 175 (95-80, +31), Haleigh Berrey tied for 13th shooting 180 (87-93, +36) to wrap up the Cougars team score.

In addition, Mackenzie Ray participated as an individual and tied for 14th shooting a 183 (95-88, +39).

After their performance the past two days, Jungmeyer and Henrich were named to the All-Tournament Team as well.

The men's and women's golf teams will be back in action when they travel to Wichita, Kansas for the Tabor College Spring Invitational at Tallgrass Country Club on March 25-26th.
