Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College Cross Country teams continued their rise in the rankings on Thursday as both the Men's and Women's teams moved up the top USTFCCCA NAIA National Coaches' Poll.

After they earned their third straight victory this season, the Cougar women moved up five spots in the rankings to sit at 20th overall in the poll. The men followed suit, jumping up to the 19th spot, up three places since the last set of rankings were released on Oct. 1.

Both teams will be back in action as they look to earn an automatic NAIA Cross Country National Championship bid on Friday, Nov. 9 as they compete in the AMC Cross Country Championships at Francis Park in St. Louis, Mo. Just a reminder, spectators are prohibited from being in attendance at the meet. That includes in and around the vicinity of the venue as well.
