Brookings, South Dakota. – Members of the Columbia College men's and women's indoor track and field teams were in action the past couple of days when they competed in the 2020 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Brookings, South Dakota.
The men's side had two competitors,
Jacob Jenkins who took 16
th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00 and
Alexander Dukes who took 21
st in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:32.
Hannah Ricketts was the only competitor on the women's side and competed in the weight throw where she threw 16.84 meters to take 12
th place.
This marks the end of the 2020 indoor track and field season. The Cougars will start their outdoor season when both the men's and women's teams travel to Leavenworth, Kansas, on Friday March 20
th through Saturday, March 21
st to compete in the Spire Team Challenge.
