Marshall, Mo. – The Columbia Cougar Men's and Women's Golf teams kicked off their season over the last two days, when they traveled to Marshall, Missouri to complete in the 2020 Missouri Valley College Fall Invitational. The women's team finished first out of six teams, ending with a team score of 640 (317-323, +64). The men's team took first place out of 10 teams, and finished with a team score of 851 (280-289, 282, -13). The men's B team placed fifth with a team score of 914 (304-307,303, +50).
On the women's side:
Emily Strunck placed first shooting a 155 (77-78, +11)
Haleigh Berrey finished second shooting a 156 (79-77, +12)
Sydney Willingham placed fourth shooting a 162 (78-84, +18)
Sydney Parrish finished seventh shooting a 168 (84-84, +24)
Cassidy McAlpine tied for ninth shooting a 171 (83-88, +27)
