Columbia, Mo. – (Team Results | Individual Results) The Columbia College women's golf team took second at the CC Cougar Classic. The two-round tournament took place at the Columbia Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Emily Strunck took home the individual title shooting an 84-75—159. Her round score of 75 was the lowest women's score in CC Cougar Classic history since 2017.
The Cougars shot a 676 (342-334) and finished second, just two strokes off the lead. NCAA-DII Truman State (Mo.) won the event with a 339-335—674.
The Cougars defeated two AMC rivals – William Woods (3rd, 338-341—679) and Missouri Baptist (395-393—788).
