Hastings, Neb. - Over the weekend, the Columbia College Women's Bowling team traveled to Hastings College in Hastings, Neb. for two tournaments - the 8
th Annual Bronco Open and the Bronco Bash. There were 13 teams from around the Midwest in attendance, with each team bowling four regular games and four baker matches.
Day one results found Columbia finishing third behind Midland (Neb.), who finished first and Grandview (Iowa), who placed second. The Cougars had two bowlers place in the top 25 -
Katyn Fischer in 17
th place with a 715 and Mollie Goodwin in 22
nd with a 704. Columbia had a total pin fall for both the regular games and the baker games of 6,377 pins.
Grandview finished first on day two, followed by Midland and Ottawa (Kan.), while the Cougars finished 8th out of 13 schools.
Grace Kowalski finished 14th overall with a 717, helping the Cougars to a total of 5,987 pins.
