Fayette, Mo. – (Full Results) The Columbia College men's track & field team started their outdoor season at the Central Methodist Open in Fayette, Mo.
Quinton Brown won the high jump with a height of 2.05-meters, hitting the NAIA "B" standard and qualifying him for the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
Malachi Jackson finished third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.83, finishing just .04-seconds behind first-place.
Ian Hammock picked up a fourth-place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.40-meters on his first throw of the finals.
Zane Torreyson and Gavin Frantz scored two points and one point in the shot put, respectively. Torreyson tossed 12.33-meters, while Frantz recorded a distance of 12.22-meters.
Alex Fritz competed in the 200-meter dash, running 23.19 and taking home a seventh-place finish.
