Eugene, Mo. - The Columbia College women's golf team is prepared for the 2021 American Midwest Conference (AMC Women's Golf Championships. The event takes place at Redfield Golf and Country Club in Eugene, Mo. 

The lineup will feature Emily Strunck, Haleigh Berrey, Cassidy McAlpine, Sydney Willingham, Carson Hall and McKenna Stumph. 

In 2019, the Cougars finished in third-place behind William Woods (Mo.) and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.). Columbia, searching for their first conference title, has finished as the runner-up twice (2014 and 2017). 

The tournament format consists of 18 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. 

The Cougars are currently ranked No. 43 in the latest Golfstat rankings, the second highest ranked team in the AMC (William Woods is 37). 

Last time out the Cougars shot a two-round total of 672 to claim the Battle at Big Creek, hosted by Williams Baptist (Ark.). That was the third tournament win in 2020-21 for the Cougars,
