Pittsburg, Kan. – The Columbia College men's indoor track & field team competed at the NAIA/JUCO Invitational in Pittsburg, Kan. on Saturday. The Cougars finished in a tie for seventh place with 31 points. There were 19 scoring teams.
 
Zane Torreyson had a big day for CC, as he finished 4th in the shot put (13.37-meters) and 5th in the weight throw (14.00-meters).
 
The Cougars received 12 points out of the weight throw even, led by Gavin Frantz's 4ht-place finish (14.79-meters). Torreyson placed 5th, Roman Canty was 7th (12.46-meters), and Kenny Miller had the 8th-best toss at 12.19-meters.
 
CC saw 14 personal records at the meet – Kenny Miller (weight throw, 12.19-meters and shot put 11.73-meters), Andrew Schwarting (long jump, 5.66-meters and 200-meter dash, 26.22), Trevor Bailey (200-meter Dash, 24.36), Grant Adkins (60-meter hurdles, 9.82 and 400-meter Dash, 58.02), Austin Tegeler (800-meter run, 2:20.18 and one-mile run, 5:19.80), Ethan Line (800-meter run, 2:12.01), Peter Giles (one-mile run, 4:48.11 and 3000-meter run, 10:26.74), Alexander Dukes (3000-meter run, 8:51.60), and Charlie Werth (3000-meter run, 9:03.43).
 
Additionally, Brock Fisher (3000-meter run, 9:43.32), Dean Frossard (3000-meter run, 9:48.13), Ethan Line (one-mile run, 5:08.88), Jacob Jenkins (800-meter run, 2:01.96), and the 4X800-meter relay team saw season-best performances.
