TOPEKA, Kan. - The Columbia College men's track and field team began their indoor season today at the Washburn Alumni Invitational, traveling to Topeka Kansas.

Gavin Frantz placed first in the weight throw, while also producing a meet record of 17.88-meters. Frantz also achieved the NAIA "A" Standard in weight throw.

Brenin Howell was also a runner-up in men's shot put, resulting in the NAIA "B" Standard, hitting the 15.37-meter mark.
