Ashland, Neb. - The Columbia College women's cross country team ran against some of the top-ranked teams in the NAIA today as they competed in the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic hosted by Doane University. 

Columbia ran against #3 University of St. Mary, #5 College of Idaho, #7 Dordt University, #17 Kansas Wesleyan, #15 Lewis-Clark State University, and #19 Mount Mercy University.

Freshman Nataly Gutierrez paced the Cougars as she ran in her first 6k this season.
