LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Columbia College bowling team took seventh place at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge over the weekend with an overall total 6750.
The Cougars qualified for seventh place and as a result, get a seventh place USBC power points.
Emma Shaner earned a ninth place finish, scoring a 938, her third career top-10 finish.
Kiana Hodges collected her highest career finish taking 15th, scoring a 907.Â
The Cougars placed second in the bracket falling to Baker University (Kan.) in the championship match. Columbia earned a 2-1 win over Ottawa University (Kan.) in round 1, while also defeating Avila University (Mo.) 2-0 in round 2.
