COLUMBIA, Mo. - Columbia College played host to the 2024 NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) Men's and Women's Cross Country National Championships this morning at Gans Creek Cross Country Course. The Cougar men competed first in the 8k, placing 29th out of 36 teams.

Columbia's top runner, sophomore Kalieb Redda, took home NAIA All-American honors placing 40th in the field of 326. Redda also notched a program record with a time of 24:40.

Runners making their debut at the NAIA National Championships included Kalieb Redda, Oscar Curry, Thomas Evans, Laik Graham, Gauge MacGregor, and Ryan Brown. Junior Will Cherrington made his third NAIA National Championship appearance, which also deemed his best in an NAIA Championship race.
