MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Columbia College men's track and field team began their season today at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic today.
Three Cougars recorded top-3 finishes on the day includingÂ
Brenin Howell finishing runner up in shot put (15.38m),
Will Cherrington placing fourth in the 5000m run (15:06.73), andÂ
Bernard Bailey taking third in the 400m dash (50.17).
Kalieb Redda also competed at the Crimson and Gold Invite at Pitt State over the weekend, setting an indoor school record in the 5000m run, posting a 14:42, finishing in fifth place. This time is also the NAIA B standard in the 5000m run.
