ROLLA, Mo. - The Columbia College women's outdoor track and field team opened their outdoor season this weekend at the Miner Invite hosted by Missouri S&T.
 
The Cougars posted eight top-ten performances at the Miner Invite, with the best finishes in the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay. The 4x100-meter relay team of Burton,Hargis,Schultz,Huot produced a top performance for the Cougars with a fifth place finish (51.39), while the 4x400-meter relay team of Hargis,Yoder,Maddox,Huot also took fifth (4:13.53).
 
Jeanette Woehrle earned a career-best in discus throw at 38.77-meters and in hammer throw at 42.12-meters.
