Fremont, NE - The Columbia College competitive dance team began their season today as they traveled to Midland University to compete in the Midland Invitational.
The Cougars received scores from the three judges of 74.1, 74.2, and 71.8 for a raw score of 220.10.
Average score put the Cougars at a 73.37, but a 0.5 deduction gave the squad a final score of 72.87.
Competing in a loaded field, the Cougars finished fourth in their first competition.
Final Team Finishes:
- Midland University - 90.17
- Baker University - 80.27
- Hope International University - 77.77
- Columbia College - 72.87
The Cougars are back in action next Saturday, February 1st, when they travel to St. Louis to compete in the Spartan Showcase.
