Women's Cross Country Takes Second at Brian Simpson Invite

Columbia, Mo. - The Columbia College women's cross country team finished second out of 12 teams at the Brian Simpson Invite on October 11th at Gans Creek Cross Country Course. The Cougars scored 82 points, finishing behind Truman State (26 points) and ahead of Rockhurst (100 points).

Hailey Gerard was the Cougars' top finisher, placing second overall with a time of 18:54.31. The team showed great depth with four additional runners finishing within the top 30.
