ASHLAND, Neb. – The Columbia College men's cross country team placed fifth out of 26 teams at the Blazing Tiger Invitational this morning.
Kalieb Redda finished first, securing a new school record with a time of 24:19.38 on the 8K course, while Will Cherrington added a sixth-place finish in 24:59.88 to give the Cougars two runners in the top 10. Cherrington now holds the fourth best time in Cougar men's cross country history, overtaking his previous spot.
The Cougars totaled 156 points, finishing behind St. Mary (Kansas) who won with 59 points, College of Idaho (100), Doane (109), and Kansas Wesleyan (148).
