Bowling Finishes Fourth at Home Tournament, Vrell Earns Individual Title

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia College bowling team hosted the Columbia Cougar Clash over the weekend at AMF Town and Country Lanes, placing fourth in a field of nine teams. Amara Vrell was crowned the individual champion with a 782 total through four games, setting her best career average at a single event and tournament finish with a 195.5 average. Vrell became the fourth player in program history to win a tournament.

Kiana Hodges also achieved her best finish placing sixth, while also collecting her best tournament average at 187.3.

Before the tournament, senior Samantha Malley was recognized for her contributions to the bowling program.
