Dance Places 4th at AMC Championships

Columbia, MO - The Columbia College dance team wrapped up their season today competing in the American Midwest Conference Championship. 

In the preliminary round, the Cougars performed well and finished with zero deductions, earning a score of 72.73. 

Heading into the final round, Columbia was in fifth place behind Missouri Baptist, Campbellsville, Viterbo, and Saint Ambrose. 

Columbia performed almost two whole points better in the finals, but after a .50 deduction, the Cougars finished with a weighted score of 73.48. 

Emily Cote was named to the Champions of Character team, while Amanda Szydlowski and Annie Lemerande were both named as First Team All-Conference award winners.
