COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Heart of American Athletic Conference (HAAC) have announced the Heart Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 academic year. Both HAAC Columbia College affiliated sports, men's lacrosse and women's bowling, totaled two Scholar-Athletes.

To be eligible for this award, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), a minimum of 60 credit hours, complete at least five semesters, attend the nominating institution for at least two semesters, and have documentation of the student-athlete participating in a varsity competition in the sport for which they are being nominated for. Graduate students are also eligible for this award.

Individual Award Recipients:

• Brock Pleis (Men's Lacrosse, Business Administration)
• Samantha Malley (Women's Bowling, Graphic Design)
