COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia College bowling team's impressive season run will continue as they have earned a spot to compete in the 2026 United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) Sectionals.
The Cougars earned their postseason berth after a record-breaking season that saw them accumulate enough Team Ranking System (TRS) points to qualify, finishing a program best of 39th in the USBC power rankings.
Columbia is making its third straight appearance, and fourth in program history.
Each section features a deep national field, with only the top four teams advancing. All teams will bowl 64 Baker games over the two-day competition to determine who advances.
The Cougars will compete in Smyrna, Tennessee with Alabama-Birmingham, Baker, Belmont Abbey, Coe, Culver-Stockton, Cumberland, Emmanuel, Goshen, Jacksonville State, Lindenwood, Mount St. Mary's, Purdue, Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta, Savannah College of Art and Design-Savannah, Tennessee Wesleyan, Union Commenwealth, University of the Cumberlands, William Penn, and Wright State.
The USBC ITC Sectionals are held at four sites nationwide, with qualifiers advancing to the ITC Finals at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, April 13–18.
The Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC) sectional qualifiers also will take place at each site on March 13, with the ISC national finals running concurrently in Green Bay.

BowlTV, which will also provide full coverage of the ITC and ISC qualifying and match-play rounds at the national championships. The finals of both events will be taped for broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
