Columbia, MO - The Columbia College cheer team competed at home today in the Cougar Classic. 

Through two rounds of competition, the Cougars saw their score increase nearly six points total. 

In round one, the Cougars competed in the All-Girl field with McPherson, Avila, and Cottey. 

All-Girl Results - Round 1:
1. Avila - 90.08
2. McPherson - 78.72
3. Columbia - 70.52
4. Cottey - 62.75

In the second round, All-Girl teams were combined with Coed teams for final scores.

Combined Results - Round 2:
1. Avila - 87.18
2. Benedictine - 84.83
3. Missouri Valley - 84.43
4. Culver-Stockton - 76.63
5. Columbia - 75.72

The Cougars will be back in action next week when they travel to Kansas City to compete in the Eagle Invite.
