North Newton, KS - The Columbia College dance team opened their season this weekend as they competed in the Thresher Invitational. 

Competed in a loaded field, the Cougars improved through two rounds of scoring. 

In round one, the Cougars scored a 77.66 and finished seventh. 

The Cougars improved their score to a 78.29 in round two and finished sixth. 

The team will be back in action on February 21st for their home competition, the Cougar Classic.
