WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Columbia College men's and women's track and field teams open up the outdoor season today at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) Invite. 

The Cougars totaled seven first-place finishes, highlighted by a standout performance from Montgomery Keck, who captured titles in the long jump (5.31m), triple jump (12.15m), and 100m hurdles (14.86). Keck also captured an A standard in the triple jump. Additional first-place finishes came from the men's 4x100m relay team (42.17), women's 4x100m relay team (48.88), women's 4x400m relay team (4.30.63) Ryan Brown in the 800m (1:57.88), Ryan Harvey in the 400m hurdles (56.82), Whitney Shinn in the 400m hurdles (1:19.50), and Garrett Donald in the 200m dash (21.29).

On the men's side, Brenin Howell hit an A standard in shot put and B standard in discus. Kenny Miller also hit a B standard in discus and Easton Haslag joined in with a B standard in javelin.
