ROLLA, Mo. – The Columbia College track and field teams traveled to Rolla, Missouri, for the Dewey Allgood Invite, hosted by Missouri S&T.
The Cougar men were paced by Easton Haslag, who threw 60.84m in the javelin for second place, and Jace Carr, who contributed a 51.72 in the 400m. Garrett Donald also ran a 21.42 in the 200m. Noah Richardson highlighted the throws with a 51.88m hammer for sixth, a new 2026 NAIA No. 37 mark. Campbell Nichols and Laik Graham ran nearly identical 1500m races at 4:13.14 and 4:13.70. The men's 4x400m relay 'A' squad finished second in 3:32.15. Brenin Howell also launched a 52.06m discus throw, finishing second.
The Cougar women were led by Ellie Berendzen, who won the hammer throw outright at 47.33m, and Caleigh Huot, who posted a personal-best 12.39 in the 100m to earn the No. 84 spot in the 2026 NAIA rankings. Lauren Berhorst took second in the 5000m with a personal-best 18:58.23, and Abigail Becker threw a NAIA top-100 38.09m in discus for third.
