Women's Golf Secures Fifth-Straight AMC Championship

MELBOURNE, Ark. - For the fifth-consecutive year, the Columbia College women's golf team captured the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Tournament title. This also marks the fifth AMC Tournament title in program history. The Cougars finished with a two-round team total of 626 at Cooper's Hawk Golf Course.
 

The two-time AMC Player of the Year, Ellie Soderholm was crowned the AMC individual champion, posting a score of +5 (73-76 – 149). Camryn Swinfard and Viviana Boix also secured top five finishes with Swinfard placing third (81-76 – 157) and Boix finishing fifth at (86-74 – 160).

With the conference title, the Cougars earned an automatic berth into the NAIA Championships in Ypsilanti, Mich. May 19-22. Columbia will compete at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
