COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) have announced the Heart Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year. The Cougars totaled 14 scholar-athletes across HAAC affiliated sports of men's lacrosse, women's bowling, and Esports.

To be eligible for this award, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), a minimum of 60 credit hours, complete at least five semesters, attend the nominating institution for at least two semesters, and have documentation of the student-athlete participating in a varsity competition in the sport for which they are being nominated for. Graduate students are also eligible for this award.
