Denaye Spurling

Denaye Dollens-Spurling is in her second year as an assistant coach with the Cougar men's and women's golf teams. She joined Columbia in the summer of 2012 following a two year stint with the University of Missouri Athletic department, where she served as a learning specialist while obtaining her Master's degree in Sports Psychology and Health Education and Promotion in May of 2012.

She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education and a minor in Art History. She was also a four year letterman with the women's golf team while at the University, despite suffering four foot surgeries. While on the team, she was named eight times to both the College of Education Dean's List and the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Along with those honors, she was a two-time Academic All-American for the Lady Tigers.
While assisting with the Cougar men’s and women’s golf teams, Denaye will be working toward her Doctorate degree in Sports Psychology. She lives in Columbia with her husband, Andrew, and their dog Titus.
