Andrew Alsop entered his first year of collegiate coaching in 2019 as an assistant coach for the Cougar Track and Field team with a focus on sprinters, horizontal jumps, and hurdles.
Alsop spent 3 years in Hermann, Missouri as an assistant coach in track and field and football. While coaching sprinters and jumpers, he coached All-State athletes in the 100, 4x200, 400 and triple jump as well as state qualifiers in the 200.Â
The St. Louis County native attended Marquette Senior High School. Alsop graduated and completed his undergraduate degree from University of Missouri - Columbia in May of 2015 with a BS in Biological Sciences Education and will earn his Masters in Economics in 2020. He currently resides in Columbia, Missouri with his wife Sarah and their dog, Arty.
