Tristen Gibson

  • Title
    Graduate Assistant
Tristen Gibson is entering his first year as an Esports Graduate Assistant and is currently in his fifth year of collegiate study. He began his academic journey with two years at North Central Missouri College (NCMC) in Trenton, Missouri, before transferring to Columbia College, where he has spent the past three years. Gibson is now continuing his academic career by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

During his time at Columbia College, Gibson served as the captain of the Rainbow Six Siege team for three years. Under his leadership, the team achieved an impressive record of 132 wins and 56 losses, securing multiple championships and reaching a national ranking of #2.

Prior to his time at Columbia College, Gibson was a founding member of the newly established esports program at NCMC, where he quickly became a standout player. He led the team in every statistical category and laid the foundation for future success. Although NCMC is a smaller community college and offered limited national exposure, Gibson's talents began gaining broader recognition following his transfer to Columbia.
Gibson earned his Associate of Arts degree from North Central Missouri College in 2022 and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia College in 2024.

Beyond his esports accomplishments, Gibson brings a rich background in traditional athletics. He has participated in competitive sports for over 15 years, including basketball, football, and track—often serving as team captain. His gamertag, “Ghostly,” originated from his Xbox username, which he first created at the age of eight.

Gibson is a native of Gallatin, Missouri, where he currently resides with his family.
