Laken Frese enters her first season as Graduate Assistant Coach in the fall of 2016. Frese was the first signee of the Columbia College Women’s Golf Program when it began in 2012. In her four years at Columbia College, she earned First Team All-Conference honors, All-Tournament team awards, and was selected to the All-Conference Honorable Mention squad. Frese also received the P.A.W. (Passion, Attitude, and Work Ethic) award at the conclusion of her senior year.
Prior to coming to Columbia College the Quincy, Illinois native attended Quincy Senior high school and was a member of the QHS varsity golf and softball teams.
Laken graduated from Columbia College in 2016 with a Bachelor of General Studies degree/Education minor. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education with future ambitions to teach K-12 Physical Education alongside coaching.
