Outdoor 2017: Competed in six meets for the Cougars in the spring… Placed 9^th in discus (33.93m), 13^th in hammer (27.66m), and 12^th in javelin (21.80m) at the CMU Open… Finished 24th in discus (31.23m) and 41st in hammer (30.90m) at the John Creer invite… Took 10th in discus (32.44m), 20th in hammer (26.25m), and 17th in javelin (22.89m) in the CMU Invite… Placed 15^th in discus (34.77m), 25^th in hammer (26.05m), and 26^th in javelin (21.94m) at the Darrel Gourley Open… Finished 5^th in the discus (33.91m) and 12^th in the javelin (24.16m) at the Dewey Allgood Invite… Took 12^th in discus (28.32m) and 11^th in javelin (25.07m) at the AMC Championships… Named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete… Earned AMC All-Academic recognition.

2016-17 Indoor: Competed in three meets for the Cougars during the indoor track and field season…Finished 14^th in the weight throw (11.18m) and 21^st in shotput (7.62m) at the Missouri Invite…Placed 23^rd in the weight throw (10.19m) at the Principia Relays…Took 21^st in shotput (8.70m) and 14^th in weight throw (10.82m) at the AMC Championships.

2016 Indoor/Outdoor Track: Competed in seven meets and 17 events for the Cougars as a thrower… Set a PR in the weight throw (10.67m) and in the shot put (8.55m) at the AMC Indoor Championships…  Opened the outdoor season with a PR in the javelin (25.47m) and the hammer throw (26.34m) at the Wash U Invite… Placed 10^th at the SLU Billiken Invite in the discus event with a throw of 33.93m… Finished fourth at the AMC Outdoor Championships in the discus (33.14m)… Named to the AMC All-Academic team.

Prep: Attended South Shelby High School... School record holder in discus... First-Team All-State Outfielder, CCC First-Team basketball and softball, First-Team All-District basketball and softball... Named KRES All-Star... Scored over 1,000 points in basketball... Played AAU basketball for Tri-State Express.

Personal: From Clarence, Mo., she is the daughter of Jim and Vera Johnston... She has two siblings, Spencer and Bryce... Born 5/29/1996... Planning to major in Criminal Justice.
