Biography
2015 Indoor/Outdoor Track: Competed in 20 events for the Cougars as a junior with 17 top ten finishes and five first place finishes… Posted a second place finish in the 3,000-meter run and the 5,000-meter run in the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships claiming All-America distinction… Represented the Cougars at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships where she finished 11thoverall in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 34:46… Named Outstanding Track Athlete at the AMC Indoor Championships after placing first in the mile run, the 800-meter run, and also helped the Cougars to a first place finish in the 4x8 relay… Took the top spot in the 5,000-meter run at the AMC Outdoor Championships with a time of 18:06… Academic All-AMC selection and NAIA Scholar-Athlete… Named to the Capital One Academic All-America College Division second team
2014 Indoor/Outdoor Track: Member of Columbia's 4x800 and Distance Medley Relay championship teams at the AMC Indoor Track Championships ... Runner-up in the 5000 with a time of 18:05 at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge on Feb. 21 ... Finished third in the 5000 at the NAIA Indoor Championships with a personal-best time of 17:21 on March 6 and named NAIA All-American ... Won the 5000 at the AMC Outdoor Championships on April 26, clocking in at 18:17; Also a member of the Cougars' 4x800 Outdoor Championship Relay Team ... Finished sixth overall with a time of 18:11 in the 5000 at the NAIA Outdoor Championships to take NAIA All-American honors...Academic All-AMC selection and NAIA Scholar-Athlete
2013 Indoor/Outdoor Track: Finished fourth with a season-best time of 10:39.09 in the 3000 meter run at UCM Mule Relays on Feb. 2nd...Set season-bests in both the 800 meter (2:25.61) and 1500 meter (4:53.20) at the Kip Janvrin Open on Apr. 25-26...Finished the year with a season-best time of 18:00.80 in the 5000 meter run at the Dr. Keeler Invitational on May 10th...Named to the Academic All-AMC team
Prep: Attended Lee's Summit High School...Qualified for the state cross country and track championships; was team captain of the cross country team junior and senior year; team qualified for sectionals in her senior year...member of the National Honors Society
