Jordan Logan

Jordan Logan joins the Columbia College softball coaching staff as an assistant in the fall 2024.
 
The Cougar alum (’12, ‘18) made her way back to Columbia College after serving as an assistant coach at William Woods University (2022-24), Evangel University (Mo.) (2019-22), Missouri Valley College (2018-19), and Hickman High School (2012-14, 2018-20).
 
In the 2022 campaign, Logan and Evangel University Valor placed fourth in the Heart of America Conference tournament, earning a 2.32 season ERA.
 
While at Hickman High School, Logan helped lead the Kewpies to two district championships.
 
From 2016-18, Logan served as pitching coach and graduate assistant at Columbia College. The Cougars claimed back-to-back American Midwest Conference (AMC) tournament titles, making two trips to NAIA World Series. Logan helped lead the pitching staff to an impressive 1.43 ERA in 2017, finishing fourth at the NAIA World Series. In the 2018 campaign, the Cougars posted their best season in program history, claiming the runner-up spot at the NAIA World Series.
 
Logan began her collegiate playing career at NJCAA Jefferson College (Mo.) where she threw 279 strikeouts, earning a 1.32 ERA over a two year stretch. At the plate, she finished with a .375 batting average. Logan is also a two-time NJCAA Region 16 All-Region First Team honoree.
 
After spending two seasons at JeffCo, Logan transferred to Columbia College to finish her softball career. While at CC, Logan finished the season with a 1.13 ERA.
 
Logan graduated from North Callaway High School, where she led the Ladybirds to the 2007
Class 3 Missouri State Softball Championship game. During her junior and senior year, the team finished with a 45-6 record. Logan was named All-Conference, All-District, and All-State pitching selection and averaged a 1.45 ERA.
 
Other notable achievements include being selected as a finalist for the 2016- 2017 Women's Intersport Network "Mentor of the Year" award as well as being a spokesperson at a 2017-2018 MSHSAA Coaches Clinic.
 
In the summer of 2022, Logan was inducted into the 2022 Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Diamond 9.
