Nae Roy is currently in his role as the Graduate Assistant for Strength & Conditioning at Columbia College, where he is dedicated to optimizing the physical performance and development of the college’s student-athletes. With a well-rounded background in both football and track & field, as well as diverse experience in athletic performance environments, Nae is committed to applying evidence-based practices to help athletes reach their peak potential.

Most recently, Nae worked as an intern with the University of Missouri Men’s Basketball Athletic Performance Department, where he gained invaluable experience working with a high-level Division I program. His time at Mizzou included assisting in performance training, recovery, and nutrition strategies for the men’s basketball team, helping them achieve notable wins and player development.

Prior to his time at Mizzou, Nae interned with the Central Methodist University Strength & Conditioning Department, providing strength and conditioning services to multiple varsity teams while developing personalized training programs for athletes. Additionally, Nae worked at Athletes Performance Institute (API), a private athletic facility where he collaborated on strength programs for a wide range of athletes, from youth to professional levels.

Nae’s athletic background includes four years of collegiate football and two years of track & field at Central Methodist University, where he honed his understanding of sports performance from both a personal and coaching perspective. He graduated in May 2024 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Sport Management from CMU.

In February 2025, Nae married his wife Unique Roy-Allen, and in April 2025, they welcomed their son, Jasai Naire Le'i Roy.

Nae holds a CSCS certification from the NSCA and is currently pursuing his SCCC from the CSCCa. He is dedicated to applying his knowledge to the continued success of Columbia College’s athletic programs and looks forward to helping athletes grow both on and off the field."
