Box Score Brownsville, Texas - The Columbia Volleyball team wrapped up a tough weekend of competition with a 3-1 loss to third-ranked Biola (Calif.) University on Saturday evening. The Eagles won the match by scores of 18-25, 25-10, 25-21, and 25-14. The Cougars, ranked 22^nd in the NAIA Top 25, drop to 17-9 on the season.

Lydie van Deursen finished with 34 assists to lead the Columbia offense. Sarah Schwentker added 12 kills and three service aces on the night as well.

The Cougars will look to get back on track on Wednesday, October 23^rd when they host William Woods (Mo.) University in a key American Midwest Conference (AMC) matchup. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
