Kansas City, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the pool assignments and schedule for the 2013 Volleyball National Championship final site presented by J&L Enterprises and CNOS Foundation. The 12 champions from Saturday's National Championship Opening Round join the 11 teams that received opening round byes and host school Briar Cliff (Iowa) University to form the 24-team field. The National Championship final site will be held at the Tyson Events Center for the sixth straight year in Sioux City, Iowa from December 3rd - 7th.

th-ranked and American Midwest Conference champion Columbia will face opening round winner Westmont (Calif.) College on Tuesday, December 3
rd at 3:15 p.m. in their first pool play match. The Cougars will take on Briar Cliff on Wednesday, December 4
th at 3:15 p.m., followed by a rematch of last year's national semifinal with top-ranked Texas at Brownsville on Thursday, December 5
th at 3:15 p.m.
Westmont, ranked 14
th in the Final NAIA Top 25 Poll, is coming off an opening round victory (25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 25-14) over Menlo (Calif.) College on Saturday, November 23
rd. The Warriors (22-8) finished fifth in the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) during the regular season with a mark of 7-7. Senior middle hitter Ciara Turner was named to the GSAC All-Conference team after posting 229 kills on the year. Junior outside hitter Madison Serrano leads the squad with 326 kills and 365 digs. Head Coach Patti Cook is in her third season at Westmont.
Tournament host school Briar Cliff University enters pool play with a record of 19-15 after finishing sixth in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) during the regular season. Senior outside hitter Monica Boeding was a First Team All-GPAC selection after leading the conference with 432 kills. Senior setter Erin Frank was a second team honoree with 1144 assists (10.5 per game), while Jenna Berg and Breanna Nogelmeier were named to the honorable mention squad. Columbia defeated the Chargers in three sets (25-12, 25-13, 25-14) back on November 1
st. Briar Cliff is led by first-year head coach Trevor Schirman.
No. 1 ranked Texas at Brownsville (31-0) enters play as one of two remaining undefeated teams in the NAIA. The Ocelots took home the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) regular season and tournament championships with an unblemished record of 13-0 in league play. Senior outside hitter Danica Markovic was named the Conference's Player of the Year for the second straight season and was joined on the RRAC All-Conference squad by teammates Xiaoyu Gou (1
