Box Score Columbia, Mo. - The Cougar women's soccer team posted its sixth shutout victory of the 2013 season with a 14-0 win over crosstown opponent Stephens (Mo.) College on Thursday night. With the victory, Columbia improves to 6-2-1 overall on the year and 3-1 in American Midwest Conference (AMC) action.

Stephanie Hale scored the Cougars' first goal of the contest less than a minute into opening period. Columbia added eight more goals over the remainder of the first half and took a 9-0 lead at the halftime break. The Cougars tacked on five goals during the final period and went on to complete the shutout from there.
Eleven different players scored for Columbia in the match, including two goals each by Hale,
Amanda Caldwell, and
Tori Magaletta. Hale and junior MacKenzie Knepper each finished with a game-high three assists. Freshman
Flavia Rosado earned the shutout in goal for the Cougars.
Columbia will face a quick turnaround and host AMC foe Williams Baptist (Ark.) College tomorrow night. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. at R. Marvin Owens Soccer Stadium. The Cougar men's game vs. Williams Baptist will follow at 7:00 p.m.
