Box Score Hannibal, Mo. – The Columbia College women's soccer team traveled to Hannibal, Missouri to take on Hannibal-LaGrange University in an AMC matchup this afternoon. The Cougars completed the shutout when they defeated the Trojans 7-0 and improved to 13-3 and 10-0 in conference play. With today's win, the Cougars have secured the top seed in AMC postseason.

Abigail Meyer got the Cougars started as she scored the first goal in the ninth minute after Trojan goalkeeper had back-to-back saves. Goal leader for the Cougars
Kelsey Mirts scored her 18
th goal of the season when
Kristen Graser found her at the 26 minute mark. Columbia closed out the first half with another goal when
Isabella Govero set up
Brooke Schneider in the 41
st minute.
The Cougars were on fire returning from the locker room as
Chloe Hall scored in the 59
th minute. A corner kick from Govero found its way to
Reese Hamilton in the 62 minute mark, followed by another goal only a minute after from
Mallory Holzer assisted by
Megan Floyd. Senior
Kaitlyn Tambke scored her first goal of the season when she found the back of the net at the 75
th minute.
Kate Marshall started in goal for the Cougars and was relieved by
Rileigh Huffman at the 67 minute mark.
The Columbia College women's soccer team will be hosting the Stephens College Stars in another AMC matchup on Tuesday, October 29. The game will kick off at 6 p.m. in R. Marvin Owens Field.
