Cougars Outscore Vikings

Box Score Columbia, Mo. – Tonight the 9th ranked Columbia College women's basketball team competed on the road against the Missouri Valley College Vikings in a nonconference matchup. The Cougars defeated the Vikings by a final score of 80-42, improving the season to 3-0.

The Cougars had a great start in the first quarter, taking an eight-point lead which they used heading into the second quarter where they went on a 16-1 run. Columbia stayed consistent in both quarters scoring 19 points in each while holding Missouri Valley at just five in the second quarter.
 
The Cougars were dominant in the third quarter tallying 27 points. Despite Missouri Valley matching Columbia in the fourth quarter with 15 points, the Cougars were too far ahead for the Vikings, giving the visitors the victory.
