Box Score Henderson, Tenn. – The Columbia College men's basketball team faced the Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University Lions in an AMC Matchup today. The Cougars were defeated by the Lions, 69-64, moving their season to 6-7 and 3-4 in conference play.
Columbia and Freed-Hardeman traded the lead six times and tied twice throughout the first half. At the five minute mark the lions took the lead with an 8-3 run to grab a 36-33 advantage at the break.
The Lions stepped on the gas and pushed their lead to 13 to open up the second half of play. A last minute effort by the Cougars was not enough as Columbia fell to the Lions, 69-64.
