Box Score Henderson, Tenn. – The 12th ranked Columbia College women's basketball team took on the 9th ranked Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University Lions in an AMC Matchup. The Cougars were defeated by the Lions, 78-48, moving their season record to 10-3 and 6-1 in conference play.
The Lions came out aggressive going on a 15-3 run to take an early lead in the first quarter. Freed-Hardeman continued to push their lead over the Cougars to 29 in the second quarter, for a half time score of 45-16.
To start the second half the Cougars came out on fire going on a 10-4 run to try and close the gap, but the deficit was too much as Freed-Hardeman clenched the win.
