Kansas City, Mo. - Ryan Harrisskitt of Columbia (Mo.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the National office announced Tuesday.

Harrisskitt, a senior goalkeeper from Hartlepool, England, ranked 10^th in NAIA with 0.5 goals against per game average. He Logged second shutout this season and helped to defeat two ranked teams last week.

This is Ryan's second National Defensive Player of the Week honor as he took home the accolade last season in September as well.

The Cougars open up American Midwest Conference play on Saturday when they play host to Lyon College. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m. on R. Marvin Owens Field.
