Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College women's soccer team remain undefeated, scoring nine goals in today's match versus Central Baptist (Ark.), 9-0. The Cougars are 6-0 on the season with a 5-0 AMC record.
The Scoring
Jewel Morelan started off the Cougars with a goal, assisted by
Allison Floyd, 1-0.
Columbia's next goal came from
Reese Hamilton, assisted by
Natalie Peng, 2-0.
Maddie Ballard took one of her own just before halftime, 3-0.
The first goal of the second half was assisted by
Chloe Hall, and kicked in by
Abigail Meyer, 4-0.
At the 59-minute mark,
Brianna Heath scored her first goal of the game, assisted by
Chloe Hall and
Brooke Winningham, 5-0.
Less than two minutes after,
Brianna Heath added another goal for the Cougars, 6-0.
Jewel Morelan recorded her second goal of the game, assisted by
Emilia Zolesio Fernandez Blanco, 7-0.
A penalty kick by
Natalie Peng resulted in a goal for the Cougars, 8-0.
The final goal of the game was kicked in by Isabella Govera, assisted by Natalie Pend and
Reese Hamilton, 9-0.
