Overland Park, Kan. – The Columbia College women's soccer team endured their first lost of the season this afternoon against Oklahoma Wesleyan, 3-1. The Cougars hold an overall record of 7-1 after today's match.
The Scoring
The Eagles got on the board first with a header from Marjolen Nekesa, assisted by Cloe Johnson, 1-0.
Laura Maria extended the Eagles lead, assisted by Daniela Ortiz, 2-0.
Columbia's
Abigail Meyer kicked in their only goal of the match, assisted by
Maddie Ballard, 2-1.
With five minutes left in the second half, Laura Maria recorded another goal for Eagles which was the final goal of the match, 3-1.
