Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College men's basketball team took their home court in the Arena of Southwell Complex for the first time this season. The Cougars came out victorious against Central Christian College of the Bible (Mo.) for their first win of the season, 112-68.

The Cougars took advantage of the Saints as they produced 11 turnovers in the first half alone. Columbia also recorded 11 offensive rebounds which led them to many second chance opportunities. With four minutes remaining in the first half, the Cougars took a 14-point lead.

Columbia turned it on in the second half, shooting 58 percent from the field and 47 percent from the three-point line. Their lead extended by 44 points, the largest of the game.
