Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College men's basketball team earned their second win of the season this evening against Central Methodist (Mo.) in the Arena of Southwell Complex, 67-60. The Cougars are 2-1 on the season.
The Cougars led for the majority of the first half and had the lead by as many as 12 with 6:27 on the clock. Central Methodist started a comeback with a 15-0 run going into halftime, picking up a 32-27 lead at the break.
Columbia fought their way back into the game and tied it up with a three-point shot made by
Beau Washer midway through the second half. The Cougars took control, scoring the final four points to secure the win, 67-60.
